As proudly displayed on the sidebar of the website, I am a member of The Samhain Society. A group of online Halloween and horror creators who have banded together to help support and promote their fellow members. This year, some of us decided to collaborate on something new, a Halloween zine featuring original articles, artwork, recipes, short stories and more.
The zine was designed by Jack Cheuvront of Eclipse Afterglow Studios and edited by Miranda Enzor of Spooky Little Halloween, with contributions from myself and a dozen other members of the group. For my piece, I revisit my 2019 series on introducing your kids to horror films and provide a few viewing options to get you started.
You can download the zine by clicking on the cover below, or if you want a fancier experience that allows you to make it to flip through it like an actual zine while online I’ve also uploaded it to Issuu.
I am extremely proud of what the group put together and was honored to be a part of it. There are so many talented folks in The Samhain Society and it was great to see everyone come together to make this fun, seasonal, treat for our friends and followers.
