On Sunday, The Winchester Mystery House announced the next iteration of its Unhinged Halloween event during its presentation on the Promenade Stage at Midsummer Scream. Starting on Friday, September 13, and running on select nights through November 2, guests will be able to experience Unhinged: Hotel.
The news was shared by Winchester Mystery House Marketing Manager Amelia Richardson, Executive Director Walter Magnuson, and Operations Director Michael Taffe with the help of writer Kevin Lively, and Mark Straite and Ron Hale of Straite To Hale Productions, who are again helping to bring Unhinged to life at The Winchester Mystery House.
Unhinged: Hotel continues the Unhinged story several years after the events of last year’s Unhinged: Homecoming. The year is now 1945, and the home has a new owner named Anton, a mysterious Romanian collector of the strange, weird, unusual, and the occult, who has turned it into a luxury resort.
Guests will take on the role of a group of friends who are stranded due to car trouble and seek help and a place to stay for the night at the nearby Bloomwood Hotel. But on your way to your room, you find yourself lost and quickly uncover the dark secrets hidden within the walls.
The details around the house were shared along with an all-new trailer for the event:
