Toy Fair 2019: Day 1 NECA Horror Toy Reveals

Earlier today I shared with all of you the #ToonyTerrors images shared by NECA today during day one of New York Toy Fair 2019, but there were a slew of other toys revealed today including a few that dropped yesterday ahead of Toy Fair 2019. Here are all the cool NECA toys you might be interested in!

The Shape of Water Amphibian Man 7″ Scale Figure

One of the first reveals from NECA ahead of Toy Fair 2019 was the Amphibian Man from The Shape of Water. This new 7″ posable figure comes with removable shackles, interchangeable head and hands and a plate of eggs along with a themed display base. The figure is expected to begin shipping in Q3 2019.

Halloween (2018) 8″ Clothed Michael Myers Figure

Based on his appearance in the acclaimed 2018 reboot of John Carpenter’s Halloween, this 8″ Michael Myers figure is fully articulated and includes a knife and hammer accessories. The latest character to join NECA’s clothed figure line is scheduled to start shipping in Q3 2019.

IT (2017) 1/4 Scale Pennywise Action Figure

Based on Bill Skarsgård’s portrayal of Pennywise from the the acclaimed 2017 horror film IT, this 1/4 scale figure has been painstakingly detailed to be as accurate to Pennywise’s elaborate costume as possible. The new figure, which is due to ship in Q3 2019 is fully articulated and features interchangeable hands and Pennywise’s iconic red balloon.

IT (1990) Ultimate Pennywise v.2 7″ Scale Action Figure

Based on Tim Curry’s portrayal of Pennywise from the 1990 IT television miniseries, this 7″ scale figure is fully articulated and features a total of three all new interchangeable heads, plus interchangeable hands (including a massive monster hand), “Turn Back Now” balloon and 3-D “emerging hand” book. This all-new version of Pennywise is set to ship during Q3 2019.

Halloween (2018) Michael Myers 1/4 Scale Action Figure

The latest portrayal of Michael Myers returns to NECA’s 1/4 scale action figure line, with this new 18″ release. With over 25 points of articulation and knife, hammer, and victim’s head accessories this is the perfect new addition to your Halloween figure collection. This new 1/4 scale figure is scheduled to ship in Q3 2019.

Halloween II 7″ Scale Ultimate Michael Myers Figure

Based on his appearance in 1981’s Halloween II, this Michael Myers figure stands over 7″ tall and has received the Ultimate treatment, with over 25 points of articulation, three interchangeable heads, syringe, knife, hammer, and opening jack o’ lantern. Halloween II Michael Myers will ship in Q3 2019.

Friday the 13th: A New Beginning 7″ Scale Ultimate Roy Burns Figure

In Q2 2019, NECA will begin shipping an all-new Ultimate figure based on Roy Burns, the impostor Jason from Friday the 13th Part 5. The new 7″ scale figure will feature over 25 points of articulation and a slew of accessories including removable mask, cleaver, hunting knife, machete, garden shears, road flare, railroad spike, and more.

In addition to official announcements that came through NECA’s social media feed and blogs, a number of images came out from event attendees. Perhaps one of the most exciting finds outside of official announcements from NECA are the possibility of these Halloween III: Season of the Witch 8″ scale clothed figures. The image suggests these would be a three pack set that is pending licensor approval with a “TBD” release date. Regardless these would be an awesome addition to any Halloween collector’s collection.
