Earlier this month Netflix released the poster and a series of first-look images for its upcoming vampire drama series, “First Kill.” This week they followed up with the release of the show’s official trailer.
Based on the short story by “V. E.” Schwab, “First Kill” follows teenage vampire Juliette (Sarah Catherine Hook, “The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It”), who must make her first kill so she can take her place among a powerful vampire family. She sets her sights on a new girl in town named Calliope (Imani Lewis. “The Equalizer”). But much to Juliette’s surprise, Calliope is a vampire hunter from a family of celebrated slayers. Both find that the other won’t be so easy to kill and, unfortunately, way too easy to fall for.
“First Kill” season one will premiere on Netflix on June 10.
