Last week, Trick or Treat Studios released its 2022 catalog featuring a collection of returning favorites as well as all-new for 2022 products. This year’s lineup of new masks includes collections inspired by “The Munsters” and “Fear Street,” as well as new additions to the growing “Scooby-Doo” line and individual pieces from some of the latest hits in horror. The 138-page catalog has plenty worth checking out, but you can see some of the highlights below:
The Munsters
New for 2022, Trick or Treat Studios is releasing a new line of masks inspired by the 1960s sitcom “The Munsters.” Fans will be able to pick up masks of Herman, Lily, and Grandpa Munster
Fear Street
Netflix’s “Fear Street” trilogy was a hit for the streaming service last summer, and this year Trick or Treat Studios is bringing some of the iconic killers from each of the films to life with all-new masks. From “Fear Street: 1994,” the Skull Mask Killer. From “Fear Street: 1978,” Nightwing, and from “Fear Street: 1666,” Billy Barker. Each mask was developed from the production molds, and costumes and additional pieces in the collection are expected to be unveiled later this year.
Scooby-Doo
In recent years, Trick or Treat Studios has slowly grown its “Scooby-Doo” mask collection featuring a number of the classic villains from “Scooby-Doo Where Are You?” This year Trick or Treat Studios is adding three more masks to the lineup, including the Zombie, Witch, and Caveman.
Beyond its lines of masks, Trick or Treat Studios is also releasing a number of individual pieces inspired by iconic films, both old and new. For fans of recent horror, new pieces inspired by “Psycho Goreman” and “Freaky are being released, and fans of older films like “Candyman” and “Corpse Bride” will also be available.
And while not part of the catalog, some exciting news came out of this year’s Halloween & Party Expo in Las Vegas. Over the last 11 years, Trick or Treat Studios has been building the definitive collection of masks inspired by each of the films in the “Halloween” franchise. To date, the costumes and collectibles maker has made masks and props inspired by the original eight “Halloween” films as well as the 2018 reboot and its sequel “Halloween Kills” and will have a new Myers mask inspired by the third film in the reboot trilogy “Halloween Ends” later this year.
During an interview conducted by Haunted Attraction Network, Trick or Treat Studios revealed that it recently signed a deal to release masks inspired by both of Rob Zombie’s “Halloween” films, which will allow them to complete the “Halloween” collection. For the masks, Trick or Treat Studios has already acquired the original toolings and paint masters and is hoping to begin production on the masks soon and have them ready for the 2022 Halloween season if possible.
