Trick or Treat Studios has announced an officially licensed Texas Chainsaw Massacre game and opened pre-orders for the March 31, 2023 release. The game is being designed by Scott Rogers, with illustrations by Terry Wolfinger.
“The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Game” is a cooperative game for up to four players, where all players win or lose as a group.
The players’ van has run out of gas, leaving them stranded and at the mercy of the Slaughter family. Work together and push your luck to escape! Pull tokens from a gruesome bag to take actions – but be careful, pulling too many may antagonize the Slaughter family!
Based on the game imagery, several of your favorite characters from the 1974 horror classic will be in the game, including Sally, Franklin, Pam, Kirk, and Jerry. From the Slaughter clan, Leatherface, Grandpa, the cook, and the hitchhiker are also represented.
The game is intended for players ages 14 and up, with gameplay time averaging about 60 minutes.
