The worlds of Transformers and Universal Monsters have collided in a new mash-up pack featuring the Universal Monsters Frankenstein x Transformers Frankentron.
This figure converts from movie-inspired robot mode to tank alt mode and features sculpt, deco, and details inspired by the classic 1931 Universal Pictures film, “Frankenstein,” including a cannon accessory based on Dr. Frankenstein’s laboratory equipment in the movie. The figure comes in VHS tape-inspired packaging made to look like a videotape copy of the movie, “Frankenstein.”
The figure is part of Hasbro’s Transformers Collaborative line, which teams up and mashes up the Transformers with other popular characters. Past Transformers Collaborative releases have included Jurrasic Park and G.I. Joe.
The new Universal Monsters Frankenstein x Transformers Frankentron is available for pre-order now from Entertainment Earth for $34.99 and is expected to ship in November.
