Last year, game developer Sharkmob announced an all-new third-person, free-to-play, battle royale game set in the “Vampire: The Masquerade” universe called “Bloodhunt.” This week, after a successful Early Access period in 2021, Sharkmob has announced the launch of the first season of the game on PlayStation 5 and PC platforms.
In “Bloodhunt,” players take to the streets of Prague’s old town for epic battles between ruthless vampires fighting to dominate the night armed with supernatural powers, weapons, and their own cunning.
“We’re so excited that players are able to jump back into the action after our invaluable Early Access period last year and see all the great additions our team has made to the game,” said David Sirland, Producer for “Bloodhunt.” “We’re a very passionate team, committed deeply to the ‘Vampire: The Masquerade’ universe and its lore as well as great gameplay and a truly thrilling and unique experience for players new to the world. We’re so happy to be sharing the full version with our great community and can’t wait to see what people think.”
Bloodhunt’s Season 1 Battle Pass will be available starting on April 29 for $9.99 and will contain over 100 various items, XP Boosts, and Tokens allowing players to personalize their character further.
“Bloodhunt” is available now via the PlayStation Store for the PS5 and on PC via Steam. A PlayStation 5 Founder’s Ultimate Edition is also available for $59.99 and includes a one-of-a-kind, PS5 exclusive epic Samurai mask and two PS5 exclusive killer outfits: Headrush and Fast Forward. It also comes with over 100+ items – from stylish outfits and hairdos to exquisite piercings and tattoos. Players will also receive 1,000 Tokens to spend in the in-game store to purchase either the Battle Pass or new vanity items.
Sharkmob has also teamed up with NVIDIA to bring “Bloodhunt” to the GeForce NOW cloud gaming service giving gamers instant access to GeForce PC performance on nearly any PC, Mac, SHIELD TV, Android device, or Chromebook without waiting for downloads. This service will be available shortly after release.
