Video Game Composers Reunite for Third Installment of Halloween Remix Album ‘Scarlet Moon Halloween’

Indie record label Scarlet Moon has just released the third installment of its ongoing Halloween remix album series, “Scarlet Moon Halloween.” “Scarlet Moon Halloween III” features an eclectic grab bag of Halloween music treats in the form of synth wave, EDM, 16-bit, and rock originals and arrangements from games such as “Castlevania II: Simon’s Quest,” “The Outer Wilds: Echoes of the Eye,” and “The 7th Guest.”

“We love Halloween, and in our quest to make game music a lifestyle, we’ve once again brought our Scarlet Moon family and friends together for this third installment,” notes Scarlet Moon’s Jayson Napolitano. “We’re thrilled to have a variety of styles and games featured, and hope our fans find something new.”

The latest release features Scarlet Moon Artists and friends, including tracks by “Super Mario Kart” composer Soyo Oka and original “The 7th Guest” composer The Fat Man. The Fat Man was joined by San Diego’s Mid-City Community Music group and legendary keyboardist Adam Holzman for a special “surf rock” rendition of “The 7th Guest” track, “The Game.”
