Late last month, NECA’s first wave of action figures inspired by the classic Ben Cooper Halloween costumes started shipping. On Monday, the collectible toymaker announced two more figures in the line that Walmart stores will have before anywhere else.
The Ben Cooper Costume Kids Collection Dracula and Witch are the two new figures. Standing approximately six inches tall, the Dracula and Witch action figures are fully poseable and perfectly capture the vintage Halloween spirit. Both figures wear masks styled after the original Ben Cooper designs and soft goods clothing, replicating the classic costumes’ vinyl look. Dracula comes complete with a pumpkin bucket accessory, and Witch with a trick-or-treat bag accessory. Each figure is packaged in a numbered, retro-style window box that pays homage to the original costume packaging.
As Walmart firsts, the two figures will first be made available in Walmart stores before being more widely available with NECA retailers. As of this writing, the figures were not available via Walmart.com.
Ben Cooper was one of the largest Halloween costume manufacturers from the 1950s through the 1980s. They were known for their affordable costumes featuring masks and plastic smocks based on popular characters from movies, TV shows, and comics.
