When Warner Bros. Pictures released the first trailer for SCOOB! last November, it alluded to the idea that we might be seeing some additional characters from the Hanna-Barbera universe, most specifically Blue Falcon and Dynomutt. Today, Warner Bros. Pictures dropped the final trailer for the film and introduced us to both characters as well as the film’s villain, which is revealed to be Dick Dastardly. The trailer also gives us a bigger taste of the rest of the Mystery Inc. gang, which took the backseat in the film’s first trailer.

SCOOB! reveals how lifelong friends Scooby and Shaggy first met and how they joined with young detectives Fred, Velma and Daphne to form the famous Mystery Inc. Now, with hundreds of cases solved and adventures shared, Scooby and the gang face their biggest, most challenging mystery ever: a plot to unleash the ghost dog Cerberus upon the world. As they race to stop this global “dogpocalypse,” the gang discovers that Scooby has a secret legacy and an epic destiny greater than anyone imagined.
SCOOB! is scheduled to hit theaters May 15, 2020.
