Last night during The Game Awards, the annual awards ceremony honoring achievements in the video game industry, Boss Team Games and Saber Interactive unveiled the first trailer for “Evil Dead: The Game.” In it, Bruce Campbell lends his voice and likeness to his iconic character Ash Williams.
“Evil Dead: The Game” is a co-op/PVP third-person shooter. In it, players play on a team of four survivors who must work together exploring, looting, crafting, managing your fear, and finding key artifacts to seal the breach between worlds or as the Kandarian Demon to hunt Ash and his friends while possessing Deadites, the environment, and even the survivors themselves.
Besides Ash, it appears there are at least two other notable characters to choose from in the game, including Lord Arthur from Army of Darkness and Kelly Maxwell from “Ash vs. Evil Dead.”
The game will allow players to battle across memorable locations, including the infamous cabin in the woods, brought to life with tons of terrifying visuals and all-new dialogue from Bruce Campbell. It also features more than 25 different weapons, including Ash’s Gauntlet, Boomstick, and chainsaw.
“Evil Dead: The Game” will release on PS4, PS5, PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and the Nintendo Switch sometime in 2021,
