The first trailer for the next installment in the Ghostbusters franchise dropped this morning and introduced us to some fresh faces with the inclusion of Paul Rudd and Finn Wolfhard, but also shows off some familiar technology fans of the original films will immediately recognize.
Ghostbusters: Afterlife is a continuation of the original series — unlike Paul Feig’s 2016 reboot — and is directed by Jason Reitman. The film tells the story of a single mom and her two kids who arrive in a small town and soon discover their connection to the original Ghostbusters and the secret legacy their grandfather left behind.
Ghostbusters: Afterlife will hit theaters sometime next summer.
