It’s only been a couple of weeks since American Horror Story creator Ryan Murphy gave us a glimpse of the cast of AHS: 1984 in their full 80s garb, but FX has already given us the first teaser for the ninth season of American Horror Story.
The new teaser, released this morning, takes us back to 1984 and introduces us to the location of the new series, Camp Redwood. They’re also not pulling any punches with this one as the teaser gives us a clear glimpse of the masked season nine killer almost instantly and ends with a very Friday the 13th inspired boat kill. Interestingly, the teaser seems void of any of the previously announced “stars” of the series, which include returning American Horror Story cast members Emma Roberts, Cody Fern, and Billie Lourd and new cast members Matthew Morrison, Angelica Ross, Gus Kenworthy, Zach Villa, and DeRon Horton.
Details on this season of American Horror Story have been slim, but everything seems to point to the shows ninth season as being a throwback to the 80s slasher. This new teaser continues to support that theory, though only time will tell what the shows latest season is really all about. Check out the teaser below!
