20th Century Fox has released a trailer for its 2020 release Underwater, starring Kristen Stewart.
As I watched the trailer I couldn’t help but draw comparisons to the classic sci-fi horror film Alien, though that’s not to say I am any less interested in seeing the film when it’s released next January.
Underwater is a film that follows a crew of underwater researchers located in a subterranean laboratory seven miles below the ocean surface. When an earthquake devastates the lab they must scramble to safety, but soon learn they’re not the only inhabitants on the ocean floor.
Directed by William Eubank, Underwater stars Kristen Stewart, T.J. Miller, Vincent Cassel and John Gallagher Jr..
