Netflix today released the official trailer for the new horror anthology series “Bloodride.”
“Bloodride,” or “Blodtur” in its native Norwegian is a Norwegian-language horror series that blends horror and dark, Scandinavian humor. The series tells the story of six different passengers who find themselves aboard a spectral bus that takes them to a gruesome, unknown destination.
Written by Kjetil Indregard and directed by Atle Knudsen, the two set out to create a series that would harken “back to the time when horror was fun.” “Both Atle and I have seen that much of the modern horror has become very dark and that you simply get a little depressed by looking at it,” explained Ingregard in a 2019 interview.
This six-episode first season is set to debut on the streaming service on Friday, March 13.
