Blumhouse has debuted the trailer for its new straight to digital release, “There’s Something Wrong With The Children.”
Starring Alisha Wainwright (“Raising Dion”), Zach Gilford (“The Purge: Anarchy”), Amanda Crew (“Silicon Valley”), Carlos Santos (“Gentefied”), Briella Guiza (“Ambulance”), and David Mattle (“Life & Beth”), “There’s Something Wrong With The Children,” tells the story of when Margaret (Wainwright) and Ben (Gilford) take a weekend trip with longtime friends Ellie (Crew) and Thomas (Santos) and their two young children (Guiza and Mattle). When the kids begin behaving strangely after disappearing into the woods overnight, Ben begins to suspect something supernatural is occurring.
The supernatural horror-thriller from Blumhouse Television and MGM+ is directed by Roxanne Benjamin (“Southbound,” “XX”) and written by T.J. Cimfel and David White (“Intruders”) with Josh Reinhold, Jeremy Gold, Chris McCumber, and Jason Blum serving as Executive Producers.
“There’s Something Wrong With The Children” will be available on Digital and On Demand on January 17, 2023, and on the recently rebranded MGM+ (formerly EPIX) in March 2023.
