Its been nearly 40 years since we were first introduced to Stanley Kubrick’s The Shining and this fall we’ll get a chance to revisit that world in Doctor Sleep, a film that tells the story of Danny Torrance still dealing with the trauma he experienced 40 years prior at the Overlook Hotel.
Warner Bros. released the first teaser trailer for the film this week and we meet an adult Danny Torrance, played by Ewan McGregor, who for the first time in 40 years comes in contact with another person who possesses the “shine.”
Doctor Sleep is scheduled to hit theaters on November 8, 2019.
