On Thursday, Paramount Pictures released the final trailer for “A Quiet Place Part II,” along with a small featurette celebrating the wait for the film’s release finally being over.
The follow-up to 2018’s “A Quiet Place” was scheduled to be released on March 20, 2020, but was delayed by over a year due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The film picks up after the deadly events in the first film and follows the remaining members of the Abbott family as they venture beyond the sand path and into the outside world. They quickly realize that the creatures that hunt by sound are not the only threats that lurk beyond the sand path.
In the featurette, which you can watch below, Writer/Director John Krasinski discusses the importance of the film being released in theaters in order for fans to get the full experience, adding that the sequel is a “much bigger” and “much scarier movie.”
“A Quiet Place Part II” will be released exclusively in theaters on May 28, 2021.
