Paramount Pictures has released the official trailer for its upcoming paranormal horror film “Smile,” and while the trailer is filled with smiles, there is nothing happy behind these grins.
“Smile” is the feature film debut from writer/director Parker Finn (“Laura Hasn’t Slept”). In it, Sosie Bacon (“Mare of Easttown”) stars as Dr. Rose Cotter, who, after witnessing a bizarre, traumatic incident involving a patient, starts experiencing frightening occurrences that she can’t explain. As an overwhelming terror begins taking over her life, Rose must confront her troubling past in order to survive and escape her horrifying new reality.
Jessie T. Usher, Kyle Gallner, Robin Weigert, Caitlin Stasey, Kal Penn, and Rob Morgan co-star.
“Smile” arrives in theatres on September 30, 2022.
