For years LEGO building fans of Disney’s The Haunted Mansion attraction have been clamoring for an official set. In fact, one ambitious creator submitted his concept for the mansion based on its appearance at the Magic Kingdom in Orlando as a LEGO Ideas entry in 2019. We’re finally getting an official The Haunted Mansion LEGO set three years later, but it’s likely not what fans were hoping for.
Being released on August 1, 2022, the new Haunted Mansion set is a miniature version of the mansion standing just over five-inches tall. Despite its small stature, the set is reasonably piece-heavy, featuring 680 pieces. LEGO has done a pretty good job cramming many of the mansion’s details into the miniature set, with part of the mansion’s interior viewable from the back. Inside you’ll find the dining room, a chandelier, and a gallery along with portraits of the Hitchhiking Ghosts, Madame Leota, and The Caretaker. In addition to the miniature mansion, the set includes an exclusive Butler minifigure to add to the display.
The new set will retail for $39.99; the product page is already available at LEGO.com in preparation for the set launch.
