Last year, we learned that a LEGO Ideas submission to turn a fan-created LEGO model of Halloween Town from “The Nightmare Before Christmas” would be turned into an actual product. On Tuesday, LEGO announced the product’s release, and it’s arriving just in time for the Halloween season.
Simon Scott, aka Tvrulesmylife, designed the set. Built with 2,193 pieces, the set features three iconic locations from “The Nightmare Before Christmas:” Spiral Hill, Jack Skellington’s house, and Halloween Town Hall. The set is filled with authentic details inspired by the film, including the fountain from Town Square, a walking bathtub for Lock, Shock, and Barrel, and you can even remove the roof of Jack’s house to reveal his Christmas formula.
This collector’s set includes eight Minifigures inspired by characters from the film, including Jack Skellington, Sally, Santa Claus, Lock, Shock, Barrel, Zero, and a two-faced brick-built figure of The Mayor.
The LEGO Ideas Disney Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas set will cost $199.99. It will be available to LEGO Insiders starting September 3, 2024, before being made available for all on September 6. The set will be available at www.LEGO.com/Nightmare and LEGO Stores.
