Last year, Joshua Werner and artist Dustin Irvin teamed up for the Source Point Press comic book series “The Winchester Mystery House.” In honor of the 100th anniversary of Sarah Winchester’s passing, Source Point Press has launched a special Centennial edition Backerkit Exclusive volume of The Winchester Mystery House comics.
This special volume collects all three issues of “The Winchester Mystery House” comics, along with extensive bonus content. The series is inspired by actual events and is a horror tale that takes you into the non-stop construction of “the house that spirits built” and its brilliant owner, Sarah Winchester. This crowdfunded version of the comic series features wrap-around cover artwork by Joshua Werner celebrating the upcoming 100th anniversary, complete with foil stamping denoting the Centennial Edition.
This campaign will also be your first chance to grab the highly-anticipated roll-and-write board game, “Floor Plan: The Winchester Mystery House!” While $25 will nab you a physical copy of the Centennial Edition comic release, a $45 pledge includes the comic book and the game.
“Floor Plan: The Winchester Mystery House” is based on the hit game “Floor Plan” from Deep Water Games. In it, players continue Sarah Winchester’s legacy of perpetually adding to the iconic Winchester House, and are challenged to build on two different stories and fulfill six different building requirements during each game. Every game of Floor Plan: The Winchester Mystery House uses 3 of the 15 scoring cards – all based on real design and architectural elements of the house.
If your design matches a scoring goal, you add the listed points on your sheet. The game ends when a player has completed five goals, then the player with the most points wins.
As of this writing, the BackerKit campaign has reached $12,850 of its $13,131 goal with 19 days left in the campaign. For more information on the campaign, pledge levels, or to back the project, visit Winchester Mystery House: Centennial Edition on BackerKit.
