Just in time for 4/20, the official trailer arrived for the suspenseful, witchy, weed-themed horror movie, “Trim Season.”
Directed by award-winning filmmaker and production designer Ariel Vida (“Vide Noir”), “Trim Season” stars Bethlehem Million (“Sick”) as Emma, an adrift, jobless, 20-something seeking purpose. She, along with a group of young people from Los Angeles, drive up the coast to make some quick cash trimming marijuana on a secluded farm in Northern California. Cut off from the rest of the world, they soon realize that Mona (Jane Badler; “V”) – the seemingly amiable owner of the estate – is harboring secrets darker than any of them could imagine. It becomes a race against time for Emma and her friends to escape the dense woods with their lives.
Bex Taylor-Klaus (“Scream”), Alex Essoe (“Starry Eyes”), Ally Ioannides (“Synchronic”), and Cory Hart (“Fear the Walking Dead”) round out the film’s cast.
“Trim Season” will open in select theaters and be available on demand from Blue Harbor Entertainment on June 7, 2024.
The film is produced by Aaron B. Koontz, Sean E. DeMott, Paul Holbrook, and Jane Badler. Executive Produced by Leal Naim and Jake Hearns and Co-produced by Cameron Burns.
