If you’ve got an extra $20,000 lying around in your crypt, Focus Features is offering you the opportunity for the best sleep of your life courtesy of a full-size replica Sarcophagus bed based on Count Orlok’s Sarcophagus in the upcoming Robert Eggers film, “Nosferatu.”
These unique beds are extremely limited and are being made to order. Each is handcrafted from premium materials and features intricate carvings, like in the film. The bed features a distinctive interior with a custom-fit mattress and foam lid for easy opening. Including the lid and base, the Sarcophagus measures 97.75″ in length, 36″ wide, and 46.5″ high.
The “Nosferatu” replica Sarcophagus bed is available for purchase now through the NBCUniversal shop and is expected to ship in February 2025.
Written and directed by Eggers, “Nosferatu” is a gothic tale of obsession between a haunted young woman and the terrifying vampire infatuated with her, causing untold horror in its wake. The film stars Lily-Rose Depp as Ellen Hutter, the subject of the vampire’s obsession, playing opposite Bill Skarsgård as the iconic vampire Nosferatu. Rounding out the cast is Nicholas Hoult (“Renfield”), Lily-Rose Depp (“The Idol”), Aaron Taylor-Johnson (“Nocturnal Animals”), Emma Corrin (“Lady Chatterley’s Lover”), Ralph Ineson (“The Green Night”), Simon McBurney (“Carnival Row”), and Willem Dafoe (“The Lighthouse”).
