You’ll Finally Be Able to See ‘Scoob!’ on the Big Screen Thanks to Cinemark’s Summer Movie Clubhouse

Cinemark has announced the return of its fan-favorite Summer Movie Clubhouse, which brings family-friendly films back to the big screen at discounted prices. In collaboration with Universal Pictures, the program runs from June 15 through August 3, 2022, and among this year’s titles is the 2020 animated feature “Scoob!”

“Scoob!” tells the never-before-told stories of Scooby-Doo’s origins and the greatest mystery in the career of Mystery Inc. With an all-new voice cast, SCOOB! reveals how lifelong friends Scooby (Frank Welker) and Shaggy (Will Forte) first met and how they joined with young detectives Fred (Zac Efron), Velma (Gina Rodriguez), and Daphne (Amanda Seyfried) to form the famous Mystery Inc. Now, with hundreds of cases solved and adventures shared, Scooby and the gang face their biggest, most challenging mystery ever: a plot to unleash the ghost dog Cerberus upon the world. As they race to stop this global “dogpocalypse,” the gang discovers that Scooby has a secret legacy and an epic destiny greater than anyone imagined.

While initially slated for a theatrical release, “Scoob!” never made it to theaters due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Instead, it was released exclusively on digital platforms in May of 2020, which means Cinemark’s Summer Movie Clubhouse will be the film’s theatrical debut.

“Scoob!” will play at more than 180 Cinemark theatres nationwide at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, June 29. Summer Movie Clubhouse tickets are just $1.50, plus taxes and fees where applicable.
