2020 is FINALLY coming to an end. It’s been a hellish year for all of us, which is why things on the site have been a little quiet these last few weeks as I’ve taken a bit of time to reflect and plan ahead for 2021. Despite all the negativity around 2020, the year was actually full of milestones for All Hallows Geek. This year I published more content than ever across the website and social media, broke 10,000 followers on Instagram, and held the most giveaways to date with a number of amazing new partners. So, with it being such a good year for the site, as in years past, I felt it only made sense to look back and share your favorite content of the year. Here were your 10 favorite All Hallows Geek posts of 2020.
The Converse Scooby-Doo Collection
Back in May Converse released their Converse x Scooby-Doo collection featuring a series of original shoe and apparel designs inspired by the Scooby-Doo and the rest of the Mystery Inc. gang. The collection sold quickly and was the most-viewed story on All Hallows Geek in 2020.
The First Ever Scooby-Doo Halloween Movie
2020 was apparently a popular year for Scooby-Doo here at All Hallows Geek. The crime solving K-9 was also the second most viewed story of 2020 with the release of his first-ever Halloween movie, Happy Halloween, Scooby-Doo!
Spirit Halloween’s Beetlejuice Collection
Spirit Halloween debuted a number of exciting new Halloween decor and props for 2020, but among the most well-received was their Beetlejuice collection, which featured the popular light up marquee, tombstone, and more!

During San Diego Comic-Con’s virtual Comic-Con@Home, it was announced that Travel Channel would be launching a new series of documentaries under the “Shock Docs” banner, the first of which focused on paranormal pioneers Ed and Lorraine Warren. Devil’s Road: The True Story of Ed and Lorraine Warren premiered on Monday, September 7, and averaged 1.1 million viewers, making it the most-watched debut in network history.

Early in 2020 we got a spooky new Pop! figure inspired by literary legend Edgard Allan Poe. The new Pop! was a more widely available release of the author and featured Poe holding a skull.
A Sneak Peek at Halloween 2020 at Target
While in the end, the enthusiasm behind Target’s 2020 Halloween collection would be overshadowed by the disappointment of reports of limited stock, no stock, or sold out stock. The early reveals from the retail chain were a ray of hope for Halloween lovers in a year where we thought we wouldn’t get a Halloween.
2020’s Most Popular Halloween Candy By State
The return of CandyStore.com’s map of the most popular candy by state was among the most read pieces in 2020. Despite being a year where trick-or-treating was discouraged or in some instances banned, Halloween candy seemed to be the one thing in plentiful supply on store shelves. Perhaps all these readers were doing their research to make sure they got the right candy to hand out to the local kids risking it all for some tricks and treats.
Finally, rounding out this year’s top 10 were LEGO’s Halloween 2020 sets. This year the plastic brick maker treated builders with a Halloween hayride and some miniature Halloween ornaments.
